Its job in the stack
I work with Drupal when an organization already has structured content, custom modules or institutional workflows built into it. The first job is understanding what the system actually does before proposing change.
For the organizations I serve, I usually work toward a simpler platform when Drupal’s maintenance and specialist requirements outweigh its flexibility. Migration is a business-systems project, not a theme swap.
