Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Signal when a conversation should not become advertising data or sit casually inside a social platform. Its narrow focus makes it a good channel for direct messaging, calls and small-group coordination.
Privacy does not make chat a project archive. Decisions and deliverables still need to be recorded in the system where the work is managed.

Limits
What it does not solve
Conversation history is intentionally less suited to institutional knowledge. Teams still need a durable home for approved decisions.
