Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Squarespace when the best system is one a small team can actually own. Hosting, templates, editing and common commerce features live together, which can remove several vendors and maintenance decisions.
It works best when requirements fit the platform. Forcing complex data, custom workflows or unusual integrations into it usually destroys the simplicity that justified it.

Limits
What it does not solve
Deep application logic, portability and fine infrastructure control are constrained compared with an open or custom stack.
