Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Bridgefy when testing how people can exchange short messages without internet access, particularly at large events or during network disruption. Its familiar mobile-app model makes the resilience concept concrete.
It is an additional route, not a guarantee. Bluetooth range, local density, activation requirements and current security guidance must be understood before operational use.
Where it earns its place
Work I use it for
- 01Offline messaging
- 02Large-event communication
- 03Resilience planning
- 04Mesh-network evaluation
Limits
What it does not solve
Performance depends on devices and nearby users. Current app behavior, activation requirements and security documentation must be checked.
