Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Mailchimp when an organization needs structured email publishing, subscriber management and campaign reporting in a system familiar to many teams. It can support recurring newsletters without turning a personal email client into broadcast software.
Publishing is different from direct communication. Consent, list health, templates, editorial cadence and unsubscribe handling make it an audience system with its own governance.
Where it earns its place
Work I use it for

- 02Subscriber forms
- 03Audience segmentation
- 04Campaign automation
Limits
What it does not solve
Pricing and complexity grow with list size and automation. Consent and list quality matter more than raw subscriber count.
