Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Canva when a team needs to produce consistent everyday graphics without waiting for a specialist design file. It is effective for templated social posts, simple presentations and client-editable assets.
Templates are useful only when the brand system is clear. Original photography, final masters and complex design work still need appropriate source files and tools.

Limits
What it does not solve
Template convenience can make work generic. Export control, font licensing and editable-source ownership need attention.
