Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Messenger when a relationship or event audience already exists on Facebook and that is the practical place to begin. It keeps an initial inquiry from being lost because the sender chose a channel I would not choose myself.
The aim is not to deepen dependence on a social inbox. Useful conversations are moved toward Signal or email, and approved work is recorded outside the platform.

Limits
What it does not solve
It is a social-platform inbox with weak project continuity and is not my preferred channel for sensitive or sustained work.
