Ultra Stack / Communication

LINE

A necessary bridge channel for everyday communication in Japan.

Why I use it

Its job in the stack

I use LINE because it is often the default way people in Japan expect to connect. Refusing it can make first contact needlessly difficult, particularly for local partners, venues and small organizations.

Convenience does not make LINE a project archive. I prefer to move sustained professional coordination to Signal or email and capture decisions in the relevant work system.

Limits

What it does not solve

Important context is difficult to govern across personal chats and groups. It is not my preferred system for sensitive or durable work.
