Final Cut Pro

Primary video editing and delivery on the Mac.

Made by Apple

Why I use it

Its job in the stack

I use Final Cut Pro for fast editorial work on Apple hardware. Magnetic timeline editing, background media handling and close integration with the Mac make it practical for documentaries, interviews, social cuts and generated-media assemblies.

Editing speed only matters when the story remains clear. Libraries, roles, captions, audio and exports are organized so a quick cut does not become an unrecoverable project.

Where it earns its place

Work I use it for

  • 01Long-form editing
  • 02Short social cuts
  • 03Captions and titles
  • 04Color and delivery

Limits

What it does not solve

Collaboration with teams built around other editing systems requires deliberate interchange and archive planning.
