Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use WhatsApp because many people and organizations begin conversations there. It lowers the barrier to first contact when asking someone to install or learn another tool would stop the conversation before it starts.
I do not want important work scattered across social messaging apps. Once contact is established, I steer sustained coordination toward Signal or email when the other person can accommodate it.

What it does not solve
It is owned by Meta and is not my preferred home for sustained client communication or durable decisions.
