Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use PayPal when audience familiarity or an existing client process makes it the shortest path to getting paid. Some customers already trust it, already have balances there or cannot use the preferred card flow.
It is a channel, not the entire commerce architecture. Orders, invoices, refunds and customer records still need a clear home outside the payment provider.
Where it earns its place
Work I use it for
- 01Payment links
- 02Client invoices
- 03Alternative checkout
- 04Cross-border familiarity
Limits
What it does not solve
Fees, holds and dispute processes can materially affect an operation. It should not be the only payment route without a deliberate reason.
