Why I use it
Its job in the stack
I use Apple hardware because the Mac is a strong common platform for development, media production, automation and daily communication. Tight hardware and software integration reduces setup friction across very different kinds of work.
The platform is a foundation, not an identity. Open formats, external backups and web standards prevent convenience inside one ecosystem from becoming avoidable lock-in.

Limits
What it does not solve
Hardware cost, repair constraints and platform-specific software can narrow options. Important data must remain independently recoverable.
